Councillor Richard P Barr (Vice Chairman)

Richard is married to Clare and has lived in Lower Seagry since 2013.  They have 2 teenage children, one just completing A-levels and the other at Nottingham University, and Richard also has 2 grown up sons.  Having served as RAF engineering officer for 33 years, Richard now works for AtkinsRéalis within their Aerospace, Defence, Science & Technology division as a Senior Programme Manager supporting a range of clients delivering complex engineering-based programmes.  Outside work, he helps Clare look after the menagerie of animals they have and, when time permits around dad-taxi services and watching Bath Rugby, is modernising their family home.
